How to Download SVG Files from Etsy and Load into Cricut Design Space
One of the most exciting things in my life was when Cricut released the Explore model. Yes, I realize that sounds ridiculous. Don’t worry, I’ve had bigger milestones too, but guys, getting special die-cuts at a printer is EXPENSIVE! When I was working as a full-time designer, it was rare that I had a client with a budget big enough to pay for custom dies but with this new model I could cut ANYTHING from home! It was a big deal. After a little while of playing, I wanted to share my files and realized that I could through Etsy. Some customers have found that downloading and loading into Cricut…

How to Remove Unwanted Cuts in Cricut Design Space with the Weld Tool
Do you ever purchase a file that just isn’t exactly what you wanted? A customer recently asked me if she could get my 3D cactus file without the slits (the slits are so you can slide the two together to make them 3D). I pulled out my phone because I had recently purchased a font (side note about fonts: this Etsy shop is so good!) and saw that the button was missing. For whatever reason, Etsy doesn’t have the download button in the app, but I found a work around! On your iPad or iPhone, open Safari or Chrome and login to Etsy. Go to ‘My Account’ and select ‘Purchases & Reviews’…

Paper Pine Trees SVG Cutting Files for Cricut
I always appreciate beautiful packaging, except that it then sits in my closet or drawer because I can’t bring myself to get rid of it! Today I saw an old package with this beautiful print and decided I had to do something with it. I used my tree files from the 3D House + Tree SVG Cutting Files set and look how cute! I used the cereal box setting and cut it twice on my Cricut. What have you reused?

Paper Crowns
One of my favorite parts of owning a Cricut is making paper crowns for my little girls! They're super easy to cut and easily adjustable for different sized heads. My youngest even wore her turkey tiara for most of Thanksgiving day. Add some whimsy to your next birthday party or holiday gathering.
